
Bill Hunter
Chief Executive Officer
Bill Hunter co-founded Momentum Environmental in early 2024 and has over 25 years of multidisciplinary environmental experience. Throughout his career, Bill has built and led high-performing teams across the environmental services industry, focusing on self performed waste management, industrial cleaning, emergency response and remedial services.
Prior to launching Momentum, Bill co-founded Terra Nova Solutions, a vertically integrated environmental services provider serving the southeastern U.S. He also held executive roles at National Response Corporation and OP-TECH Environmental Services, where he drove strategic growth and operational excellence.
Bill holds a Bachelors and Master’s Degree in Environmental Geography from Binghamton University. Outside of work, Bill enjoys spending time with his wife Lindsay and their three children. He’s an avid outdoorsman and actively involved in youth sports in his community in Upstate New York.

Rick Brienzi
Chief Financial Officer
Rick Brienzi joined Momentum Environmental in July 2024 as Chief Financial Officer, bringing broad executive experience across finance, accounting, information technology, human resources, and organizational leadership. In his role, Rick oversees the company’s financial strategy and supports scalable growth through disciplined financial management and operational efficiency.
Prior to joining Momentum, Rick served as Chief Financial Officer of Sun Environmental, where he led financial planning, reporting, and systems integration during a period of rapid expansion. Earlier in his career, he was Senior Manager of Financial Reporting at Carrols Corporation, one of the largest restaurant companies in the United States, where he supported enterprise‑level financial reporting through significant merger and acquisition activity.
Rick is a Certified Public Accountant and holds both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Business Administration from St. John Fisher University.

John Bowen
Health and Safety Manager
John joined Momentum Environmental in 2024 and leads the company’s Health and Safety program with a hands-on, team-focused approach. As a trusted resource for field and operations teams, he champions safety excellence across all levels of the organization. His expertise lies in cultivating strong safety cultures and minimizing risk in high-hazard environments.
With over a decade of experience as an EHS Coordinator in the Oil & Gas Drilling industry, John brings deep industry knowledge and a practical mindset to every training session and safety initiative. His ability to connect with employees at all levels has been instrumental in driving compliance, enhancing performance, and fostering continuous improvement.
Originally from North Carolina, John now resides in Horseheads, NY with his wife, Dakota.

Kyle Sutton
Senior Vice President of Operations
Kyle Sutton brings more than 20 years of hands-on leadership experience in the environmental services industry. At Momentum Environmental, Kyle oversees all aspects of operations, with responsibility for safety-driven project execution, operational strategy, acquisition integration, and fleet management.
Prior to joining Momentum, Kyle was part owner of an environmental services company he built into a recognized industry leader in emergency spill response, industrial services, and environmental remediation. Today, his focus is on driving operational excellence across Momentum’s field services organization, with a particular emphasis on integrating multiple service lines into a unified, high-performing operation under the Momentum name.

Nick Halliday
Senior Vice President of Operations
Nick Halliday has over 20 years of hands-on leadership experience in environmental services. As the former owner of The Environmental Service Group, he built ESG into a regional leader, culminating in its successful acquisition by Momentum Environmental Solutions.
At Momentum, Nick leads operational strategy and execution, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, sustainable solutions. Known for his integrity and client-focused approach, he has built a reputation for driving innovation and operational excellence.
Nick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Niagara University, is an avid outdoor enthusiast and is deeply committed to environmental stewardship in his community.

Lauren Robinson
Vice President-Compliance
Lauren Robinson serves as Vice President of Administration at Momentum Environmental. Lauren started with started with Momentum’s predecessor in 2014 and has held every major field and administrative position within the company. She brings a strong background in environmental management and administrative leadership, supporting organizational effectiveness, compliance, and internal operations across the company. As a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Lauren plays a key role in aligning administrative processes with regulatory and operational requirements.
Lauren holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from SUNY Empire State College

Julian Mastropoll
Vice President-Compliance
Julian brings more than 20 years of experience in environmental management, remediation, waste transportation, and state and federal regulatory compliance. At Momentum Environmental, Julian leads the company’s compliance strategy, ensuring operational efficiency while maintaining rigorous adherence to environmental regulations.
Prior to joining Momentum, Julian served as Vice President of The Environmental Service Group (NY), Inc., where he held a wide range of operational and leadership roles. His hands‑on experience across environmental services has made him a key contributor to Momentum’s compliance framework and operational success.
Julian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Management from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Kyle Stone
Director of Operations
Kyle Stone joined Momentum Environmental in 2024 following the acquisition of T&R Environmental. He leads regional day‑to‑day operations and field services throughout Central and Western New York, with a focus on operational excellence and service quality.
Kyle specializes in environmental project implementation across remediation, industrial services, and spill response. Prior to joining Momentum, he served as a Project Manager at Stantec Consulting Services, where he led complex remedial and emergency response projects.
Kyle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York State

Justin Rainville
Director of Operations
Justin Rainville brings more than 15 years of experience managing complex industrial services and emergency response operations. His expertise includes vacuum truck services, confined space entry, industrial cleaning, storage tank services, and waste transportation and disposal.
At Momentum Environmental, Justin plays a critical role in operational growth, customer relationships, and leadership development. He is deeply involved in mentoring facility managers, project managers, and office leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Justin holds an Associate of Science degree from Mesa College.

Mitchell Standera
Controller
Mitchell Standera joined Momentum Environmental in April 2025 as Corporate Controller, where he supports the leadership team through strong financial controls, accurate reporting, and scalable accounting processes.
Prior to joining Momentum, Mitchell served as an Audit Manager at KPMG LLP, one of the nation’s Big Four public accounting firms. In that role, he led audit engagements for Fortune 500 and private companies, with a focus on revenue, inventory, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
Mitchell is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Marist University and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Rochester’s Simon Business School.
